Brian has been Revv52′s Artistic Director for nearly 20 years. He has moved the group from an oratorio choir to one of Canada’s most vibrant ensembles, focusing on the best pop music from the last five decades. Brian has pushed the group to take risks musically and through performance, and has encouraged us to “think big” and act professionally as we gather together. Brian is a prolific vocal coach in Calgary, and you can learn more about him by visiting his biography page.

After spending a few years away from it, she knew she had to find a way to get back singing, and joined REVV52 in 2003. Shannon also enjoys sharing her love of music with her own children, and other Calgary families, and mostly as a passionate leader for our group.
Revv52 is a Not-for-Profit Society in the Province of Alberta and a Registered Charity with the Government of Canada. We are Calgary’s longest-standing performance ensemble, having started with the celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee in 1952. Over the years, tireless efforts by volunteers and members have sustained the group through several Artistic Directors, changes of rehearsal hall, performance venue, musicians and the coming’s and going’s of all of the members over the years who joined us for their love of singing. Today, the group operates with a volunteer board made up of members, governed transparently with strong adherence to internal member policy and ethics.
The volunteer board puts in countless hours to lead the group, organize the rehearsals and member activities, encourage the participation of all members and prepare for our seasonal performances in January and May. Without their tireless efforts, passion and dedication, Revv52 would not be the vibrant ensemble that it is.Return to Top
