Every Breath You Take

This great song by the Police was released in 1983 on their Synchronicity album and topped the Billboard charts for 8 weeks.  The song, about the obsession with a lost lover and the jealousy (and surveillance) that follows, was re-created by Revv52 during their London Calling! shows in January 2013.  Sung A-Capella, this arrangement and performance provides the haunting tones originally intended (but often misinterpreted) that The Police originally sought.

Downtown

The Petula Clark classic from 1964 reached the number one position on the Billboard Top 100 after making it to number two in England. The single was commonly known as the leading edge of the British Invasion in the 1960's. The song was performed by Revv52 and our own Petula Clark's in January 2013 at the London Calling! shows.

I'm Not in Love

10cc's classic was an innovative blend of technology and thoughtful singing at the time of its release in 1975.  By using a different approach to multi-track recording, the band simulated the sound of 256 voices to form one of the world's first virtual choirs.  Revv52's 50 voice performance ensemble collaborated with renowned a cappella arranger Deke Sharon for this unique arrangement for its London Calling! shows in January 2013 in Calgary, Alberta.

Ruby Tuesday

The Stones' timeless classic was arranged by Kit Johnson and features a spirited performance by Revv52 at their London Calling! shows in January 2013 in Calgary, Alberta.

For Your Love

For all you Yardbird fans, watch as Revv52's 50-person strong performance ensemble gives a new spin to this classic song.  Mitch Belot and Dan Duguay sing the leads with Revv52 and their live band at the London Calling! concerts held in the cold winter of January 2013 in Calgary, Alberta.

Mercy

This awesome Duffy tune was performed by soloist Robyn Hauck and Revv52 at the London Calling! concerts in January 2013, at River Park in Calgary, Alberta.

Somebody to Love

This smash hit by Queen was performed as the encore for Revv52's London Calling! concerts, held in January 2013 in Calgary, Alberta. Mallorie Miller sings the lead for this amazing song with intricate harmonies and a wide range of vocal colors.

Adventures of Major Tom

Two classic David Bowie hits tie together in this Kit Johnson arranged performance of Space Oddity and Ashes to Ashes, at Revv52's four sold-out January 2013 performances of London Calling! in Calgary, Alberta.

Amazing Graceland

Deborah Allen wrote this tribute to Elvis in 2010 and the arrangement by Deke Sharon captures the beautiful colors of the song.  Revv52 soloist Jenelle Baine leads the 50-member ensemble in this moving rendition during the Walkin' in Memphis concerts in May 2012 in Calgary, Alberta.

Down by the Riverside

Revv52 presented this great piece of work through contrasting styles - first, soloists Valerie Gerbrandt and Kyla Smith provide a gentle first verse through the strum of a ukelele; then, powered by vocalist Robyn Hauck the entire ensemble of Revv52 belts out a Moses Hogan version like an anthem for peace.

Walkin' in Memphis

This Marc Cohn song was originally recorded in 1991 and performed by the 50 member singing group Revv52 at their concert in May 2012 in Calgary, Alberta.  Soloist Jeremy Mielke literally "milks" the great lyrics and meaning of the song in this performance in front of a jam-packed audience.

Change is Gonna Come

Sam Cooke's amazing anthem to a changing times in the 1960's was performed in May 2012 by the 50-person singing group Revv52, with a stirring solo by Robyn Hauck.  The three concerts provided over 2000 in the audience with an exploration of the music of Memphis.

When A Man Loves a Woman

Percy Sledge recorded this classic song in 1966 without having any lyrics written - the words were inspired by the melody and his love. Athena Hughes, a female lead for Revv52, sings the song from her heart at the Revv52 concert Memphis: Great Balls of Fire! held in Calgary, Alberta on a cold winter night in January 2012.
